Junior Hoilett could be set for a move to FC Bayern

Blackburn’s young star Junior Hoilett could be set for a shock move to Germany. Sources claim that FC Bayern are interested in him and have made contact with his father for a free transfer switch at the end of the current season. Hoilett’s contract at Blackburn is over at the end of the current season and a move to Bayern will see him join his younger brother Jaineil, who plays for Mainz, in Germany.

Gonzalo Higuaín not interested in Chelsea transfer

Gonzalo Higuaín has been in superb form this season and has scored 14 times in 19 La Liga games to help his club establish a seven-point lead over F.C. Barcelona at the top of the standings.

Reports in Spain suggested Chelsea made a £33 million offer for the Argentinan striker during the January transfer window, only to find Real Madrid unwilling to sell.

Michel Salgado seeks Galaxy role

According to The Independent, the Blackburn Rovers Spanish defender Michel Salgado was in the United States yesterday, seeking a role at LA Galaxy, six weeks after claiming that he was being denied a game at Ewood Park because nine more appearances would entitle him to a new contract.

Nesta determined to sign new deal

According to footballpress.net Alessandro Nesta has asked AC Milan to speed up talks over a new deal. The Italian defender's current contract expires in June 2011, but Milan have been firm in not pushing out easy renewals. The club's plans to offer players new contracts have been pushed back to March.

Nesta has made it clear he wants to remain at the Rossoneri amid reports Lazio were keen to take him back.

Pablo Sarabia to join Sporting Braga in January

According to AS, Sporting Braga have reached an agreement with Real Madrid which will see Real Madrid-Castilla's -Real Madrid's second team- star Pablo Sarabia join the Portuguese side during the winter transfer market.

It is believed that Sporting Braga will pay 3 million euros for the Spanish sensation, however Real Madrid will have an option to buy him back during the first two years of his new contract.

Tottenham: Van der Vaart deal confirmed


Tottenham has announced that we have reached agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Rafael Van der Vaart.

The Holland international came through the ranks at Ajax and won two league titles during 141 appearances with the Eredivisie side, scoring 60 goals before leaving for Hamburg in the summer of 2005.

The attacking midfielder, 27, was the Bundesliga side's leading scorer in his first season in Germany and went on to captain the side before joining Real Madrid ahead of the 2007/08 campaign.

Stuttgart sign Camoranesi

Shortly before the summer transfer period comes to an end, VfB Stuttgart completed the signing of Mauro Camoranesi from Juventus Turin. The 33 year old midfielder signed a three year deal with the club, the details of which will remain undisclosed. The Italian international, with Argentine roots, is expected to train with Christian Gross' men for the first time on Wednesday.

Reds complete Konchesky deal

Liverpool have today completed the signing of Paul Konchesky on a four-year contract.

The 29-year-old full-back moves to Anfield from Fulham after agreeing terms with the Reds and passing a medical.

Youngsters Lauri Dalla Valle and Alex Kacaniklic have made the switch from Anfield to Craven Cottage as part of the deal.

Rinaudo is a Juventus player

Juventus Football Club announced that the agreement with S.S.C. Napoli for the temporary acquisition of the registration rights of the player Leandro Rinaudo has been reached. The consideration for the loan is € 0.6 million to be paid during the 2010/2011 financial year.

The agreement also includes the option right, to be exercised at the end of the 2010/2011 season, for the definitive acquisition of the football player by Juventus at a price of € 5.0 million, to be paid in three years.
